About the role

To support us in our next phase, we are now looking for an Account Manager to help us achieve our mission of reinventing how schools attract, enrol and retain students – because every family deserves to find the right school for them and their future.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering positive communication outcomes that support our clients’ strategic and operational objectives.

You’ll provide a range of diverse services to clients including:

  • digital marketing.
  • online communications including websites and social media.
  • publications (internal and external, newsletters, magazines, brochures, annual reports).
  • advertising and liaising with the media.
  • inbound marketing.
  • brand management.
  • support with marketing communication tools and platforms.

About you

We are looking for a team player who has:

  • three to five years’ experience in a similar marketing role.
  • agency experience (desirable but not essential).

Reporting to the Senior Marcom Manager/Marcom Team Leader, the Marketing and Communications (Marcom) Specialist role has a strong focus on communications and project management of marketing at The Scots College in Bellevue Hill. This role is based on site at the College, and works alongside a small team of other imageseven staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the daily operations of the
  • Marketing and Communications office
    Develop/refine strategy execution and creative concepts
  • Develop, grow and maintain strong relationships with key internal College staff
  • Coordinate and direct annual photoshoots and various video shoots on behalf of the client
  • Coordinate projects such as the development of websites/webpages, and execution of publications and programs
  • Engaging the client in marketing and communications projects, while ensuring the communications results are met
  • Support the team as a brand champion and editor from a whole School perspective
  • Oversee the management of various internal communications, with a focus on building a strong digital footprint.

About you

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant field
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in an agency with B2B, or education focus; or a minimum of four years’ experience in managing in-house marketing communications
  • Highly customer focused, proactive, has strong accountability and is solutions minded
  • Experience in a range of communications consulting services
  • Experience and demonstrated results in various communications roles
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and project responsibilities
  • Experience in coordinating a photoshoot and/or video shoot
  • Experience in coordinating an advertising schedule
  • Comfortable using a Mac computer
  • Comfortable working with data
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel); and

You will bring innovative ideas that support our clients’ objectives whilst remaining on brand and you will have experience in both digital and print media. As a Designer you will be highly motivated, an excellent team player and have the ability to balance the creative and practical demands of this role.

What you will be doing

  • Assisting with design projects from brief through to final execution including long-format reports and publications
  • Delivering outputs and artworks across a range of mediums such as publications (yearbooks, annual reports and magazines), advertisements, websites and social media
  • Leading innovative digital and print content creation in line with client needs/goals
  • Ensuring that all media is created to brand guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance, exceptional quality credentials and deadlines are always met
  • Assisting the Team Leader (Design) with managing the team’s project management platform – Teamwork (training provided)
  • Working collaboratively with the wider design team to deliver on client briefs

What you will need

  • Strong experience working with WordPress (HTML and CSS)
  • Strong experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro and After effects)

  • Knowledge of the print production process, including digital pre-press, production of files for print and web, scanning, proofing and print specifications
  • Ability to create and manage long-format reports and publications from concept through to production
  • Demonstrated competence in interpreting a brief
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
