Shellharbour Anglican College has established itself as a leading provider of Prep to 12 education in the Shellharbour and Illawarra region. Christian values live at the heart of the College, empowering students to live with purpose and make a difference.
In its foundation years, Shellharbour successfully developed a welcoming and nurturing community, with a warm and loving learning environment. Following a change in leadership, the opportunity was presented to audit the brand — particularly its visual identity — as it progressed into the next phase of its maturity.
With the aim to progress their founding visual identity, reinvigorate interest in the College brand and signal to the marketplace that changes had occurred inviting them to reconsider their established perceptions.
Whilst the College provided a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing community, its key messaging and visual identity failed to articulate the College’s point of difference – that it was more than just a “nice” school. imageseven was engaged to audit the school, to develop cohesive messaging and a professional brand.
By developing a unique visual identity, strong communications strategy and key messaging, imageseven helped the College to bolster its positioning and profile to compete with the other schools in the region.
A consistent, recognisable and professional brand was implemented with a refreshed logo and the development of key messages, notably, the tagline, Pursue Tomorrow. A style guide and digital strategy was also put in place to keep all internal and external assets consistent. The result was an increase in community presence and a growth in enrolments.
Shellharbour Anglican College continues to seek imageseven’s expertise and engages with the Customer Support Program. A new website is currently being developed, along with several marketing initiatives throughout the year.
